Dear Lummi Nation School Families,
We would like to share an important health and safety update with our school community.

A member of our staff has a life-threatening (anaphylactic) allergy to latex. To help keep our school safe, we are asking for your support in avoiding latex products at school.

• Latex balloons are not allowed on campus. Please use Mylar (foil) balloons only.
• Latex gloves are not used at school.
• Our kitchen already uses non-latex gloves for food preparation.
• No latex products are used in the health room.

We kindly ask families to support this effort by not bringing latex balloons or other latex items to school, including for celebrations, gifts, or events.
